CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Half of the Jones Golf Course in Cedar Rapids has re-opened, but the other half will remain closed for the season due to flood damage.

The front nine holes re-opened for play on Friday morning after the entire course was closed for 28 days due to this spring's flooding.

Course officials say slight modifications did have to be made. The back nine holes will remain closed for the rest of the season.
