First Annual Swing for Cure

It's the first annual swing for a cure game tonight as Waterloo West hosts West Delaware. The boys of summer swinging pink wooden bats in a game to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. The bats  were auctioned off for money at the end of the night.

West Delaware swinging the bats pretty well. Reilly Ryan drives in the first run of the night with a base hit to left off Lincoln Conrey. Brent Lammers scores to make it 1-0.

West Delaware's next run comes on one of the Wahawk's multiple errors a passed ball leads to a wild throw to third- allowing Riley Ryan to score from second. The Hawks lead 3-0 after the first inning.

In the third, Tyler Africa with a base hit to right. Nick Kleitsch scores. West Delaware builds a 5-0 lead after three innings.
