Justis celebrates retirement in Cedar Falls

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

A reception was held Tuesday afternoon for Bob Justis, who is retiring from the Greater Cedar Valley Alliance and Chamber of Commerce.

Justis joined the Cedar Falls Chamber of Commerce as President in 2002, and remained in the position during the merger with the Waterloo Chamber in 2007.

He said that in retirement he will remember the people he worked with the most.

"It was just an honor and a lot of fun to be working with them to get it done," he said of the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Chamber merger and, it's working.

In 2011, Justis was named Executive of the Year by the Iowa Chamber of CommerceExecutives. He said he will remain active in retirement.
