4 Hawkeyes on the Athlon Sports Big 10 preseason team

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Four Hawks are named to Big Ten preseason teams by Athlon Sports magazine. Jordan Cotton is a preseason first team Big Ten kick return specialist... After ranking first in the Big Ten and 14th in the nation last year.

Senior James Morris is a second team Big Ten linebacker---after ranking 3rd in the conference and ninth nationally in tackles last year.

Former Dubuque Wahlert star Mike Meyer is named to the second team at place kicker--Meyer ranks fifth all time in scoring at Iowa---  while Brandon Scherff is named to the Big Ten third team at tackle.
