Iowa City City Council adopts ordinance restricting use of drones

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

The Iowa City, City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to adopt an ordinance that restricts the use of drones and red light traffic cameras in city limits.

In addition, the council also waived the opportunity for a second consideration of the ordinance. 

The ordinance restricts the use of drones, red light traffic cameras and automatic license plate recognition systems.
