It happened around 1:45 p.m. Monday in the 4500 block of Otis Rd. SE.

Authorities say a car driven by 19-year-old Rebeca McCorkle of Marion was headed east when she lost control and went into a ditch.

McCorkle and a passenger, Ashley Dyer, 15, of Cedar Rapids, were both injured. They were taken to a Cedar Rapids hospital for treatment.
