BUTLER COUNTY (KWWL) -

A former Aplington-Parkersburg teacher will be in jail for several years for charges of sexual exploitation by a school employee.

Ashley Anderson is accused of having sexual contact with four male students between 16 and 18 years old during the 2011-2012 school year.

She accepted a plea deal in April. In return, one count was dropped from her charges.

She was facing up to 15 years behind bars, but was sentenced for a maximum of five years in prison Monday in Butler County.
