Death in Cedar Rapids ruled a homicide

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Police released the name of the person found in an apartment building on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids Monday.

Officials say the man was 22-year-old Ronald Kunkle, and they have officially ruled Kunkle's death a homicide.  The incident was originally classified as a suspicious death on Monday.

Kunkle was found in an apartment at the 5000 block of Kirkwood Avenue SW in Cedar Rapids.  His death is still under investigation.
