Beck bringing Florida-based restaurant franchise to Waterloo

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Hurricane Grill & Wings, based in West Palm Beach, Florida, announced on Thursday that Darin Beck will be opening a franchise in Waterloo this fall.

The tropical-themed, casual dining restaurant has more than 50 locations in nine states, including Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota.

The Waterloo location, which will be the first in the state, will be at 2027 Crossroads Boulevard.

The Hurricane Grill & Wings menu includes jumbo chicken wings with a choice of more than 30 signature sauces and flavors and more than 14 craft beers.

Beck says he hopes to have the restaurant open by mid to late October.
