CENTER POINT (KWWL) -

The Linn County Sheriff's Office says a 55-year-old Center Point man was injured in a rollover crash on Wednesday night.

Sergeant S.A. Humphrey says William Jones was headed north on Palo Marsh Road when he lost control of his vehicle near the intersection of McClintock Road.

Deputies say Jones' vehicle went into the ditch, came back out on McClintock Road and rolled onto its top. They say Jones was trapped in the vehicle for a short time.

Jones was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids where he was treated for what are being called "non-life threatening" injuries.

The accident remains under investigation and Humphrey says charges are pending.
