Photography contest aims to show off Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The Cedar Rapids Area Convention & Visitors Bureau is having a photography contest. It's called Show Off Cedar Rapids. The top photos will be featured in the 2014 Official Cedar Rapids Area Visitors Guide.

Photos should be in color and in a digital format. The Cedar Rapids Area Convention & Visitors Bureau wants to see pictures of people enjoying the community, Cedar Rapids landmarks, and recreational areas in the city.

All entries should be sent to jpickar@cedar-rapids.com by August 15. Include the photo, a caption, your first and last name, email address, street address, city and state and telephone number.

Finalists will be announced in September.
