An Iowa City man faces charges after police say he was standing outside a convenience store with a Samurai sword and drugs.

Deandre Irby faces weapons and drug charges.

Police say they were called to a Kum and Go in Tiffin Monday night around 11:30 p.m. for a report of a man with a guitar who was scaring customers.

When the officer arrive, he said he noticed Irby had something sticking out of his back shirt. The officer describes it as a Samurai-type sword. He also found two throwing knifes on Irby.

The officer said he also found a flask of coke.
