The Justice Department announced on Monday it will drop its appeal against the Plan B One-Step morning after pill, according to NBC News.
In April, following a decision by a federal judge that the Food and Drug Administration should lift age restrictions on the medication and put it on store shelves, instead of behind the pharmacy counter, the Justice Department filed an appeal to stop the sale.
The Justice Department submitted a plan for compliance, and if it is accepted, they say they will drop the appeal.
