CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Cedar Rapids Police now say what was previously called a suspicious death is officially being investigated as a homicide.

Police were called to 5663 Kirkwood Boulevard SW #9 Monday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. for a medical call.

When they arrived, they found the body of an adult male. Police have not released his name.

Police are continuing to investigate, and ask anyone with information to call Linn County Crimestoppers at 1-800-CS-CRIME. Those with information can also text 5227 to CRIMES (274637) and their tips.

Those with information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward.
