Fourteenth annual Tractorcade making its way through Iowa

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Hundreds of tractors began a journey through Eastern Iowa Sunday.

It's the fourteenth annual WMT Great Eastern Iowa Tractorcade which some say is like RAGBRAI, only with tractors instead of bicycles.

Monday more than 500 tractors journeyed from Hawkeye Downs to Palo, Vinton and Van Horne before returning to Cedar Rapids.

Riders say joining the journey is just fun.

"I'm retired so it's something to do," said Don Knockel of Bellevue. "It's a lot better than driving around the field all day.

Tuesday the group will ride through Macbride State Park, North Liberty, and Solon. The ride ends Wednesday with a trip down to Shueyville.
