Iowa City man charged with reckless use of explosives

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

An Iowa City man was charged with a serious misdemeanor charge of reckless use of explosives.

Iowa City police say 32-year-old Steven Crittenden threw a firecracker into the street on Sunday before going back into the local bar.

Police say they found two more firecrackers on Crittenden.

At the same time, investigators were looking into a suspicious package a few blocks away.
