Jake Farley named to award watch list

Posted: Updated:

UNI linebacker Jake Farley has been added to the College Performance Awards FCS linebacker award watch list.  He's one of 35 players nationally on the initial list.

In 2012, Farley led the Panthers with 85 tackles, including 46 solo tackles.  It was his first year of competition for UNI after transferring from Kansas.

The recipient of the award will be announced at the conclusion of the season.  Three UNI players have earned CFPA honors: Ben Boothby (CFPA Defensive Tackle Award), L.J. Fort (CFPA Linebacker Award), and Sawyer Kollmorgen (CFPA National Freshman of the Year).
