The City of Coralville is asking for volunteers to help fill sandbags as they prepare for flooding from the Iowa River and Clear Creek.
Anyone willing to help can head to the Coralville Streets Department at 750 Camp Cardinal Boulevard.
Volunteers should park on James Street and walk towards the domes. They should bring gloves with them.
Volunteers can also go to the United Way Emergency Volunteer Center which is in Montgomery Hall on the second floor at the Johnson County Fairgrounds, 4265 Oak Crest Hill Rd SE. The center is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
