IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Officials in Iowa City are instituting changes at Lower City Park due to the threat of flooding from the Iowa River.

All amusement rides at the park have been removed and will not be put back in place until the threat for flooding has passed.

Anyone with shelter reservations through June 16 are being contacted about moving reservations or providing refunds.

All boys baseball games at City Park have been canceled until further notice.  The staff is trying to find alternate fields to play the games at.

All tee ball games that are played near the outdoor festival stage may be relocated.
