Flooding forcing closure of trails in Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Flooding on the Cedar River is forcing officials in Cedar Rapids to close some trails in the area.

The following trails are closed effective immediately:

- The Cedar River Trail is closed south of Sokol Park to just north of the Tate Cummins Sports Park.

- Parts of the Prairie Park Fishery Trail are closed, but the park is open.

- The Sac & Fox Trail is closed at Fir Avenue SE.

These trails will remain closed until further notice.
