The City of Cedar Rapids says that all boat ramps are open in Cedar Rapids since the Cedar River water level has fallen below 13 feet and continues to fall.
The Cedar Rapids Fire Department is warning boaters and anyone else on the river to use caution this weekend.
The fire department recommends having personal flotation devices for all people in the boat. They also say to stay tuned to the latest forecasts in case of severe weather and have a means of communications if there is an emergency while on the water.
