CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The Wartburg Knights rallied for 7 runs over their final three innings to stun Coe 7-6 and win the Iowa Conference baseball tournament.

Coe chased Wartburg starter Michael Schinstock out of the game after just two innings.  Schinstock gave up 6 runs in the second, but Joe Moen came in and held the Kohawks at bay the rest of the game.  Moen allowed just 2 hits and no runs over the next 7 innings.

The Knights, trailing 6-0 going in to the 6th, scored 3 runs in the 6th, 3 more in the 7th, and drove in the go-ahead run in the 8th.  Wartburg swept the Iowa Conference regular season title and the tournament title for the first time since the 2008 season.
