DES MOINES (KWWL) -

After a leading the charge in Iowa education reform, Director of Education Jason Glass may be leaving the state.

Glass confirmed on Monday that he is looking at a superintendent job in Colorado.

The job is in Eagle County, where he and his wife both used to teach.

The Eagle County job is listed as paying about $30,000 more than Glass's current $147,000 salary.

He'll know if he got the job by May 22.
