DUNKERTON (KWWL) -

A Dunkerton man who allegedly committed vandalism and then posted the results on Facebook was arrested Wednesday.

Devin Trumbley, 18, of 105 W. Sycamore St., Dunkerton, was arrested by the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Deputies were called to Bruggeman Park northeast of Dunkerton for damage to a metal gate and posts.

The park had been gated due to budget restraints and to keep vehicle traffic out, the Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies were later told that Trumbley had posted photos of damage to his vehicle as well as the gate and posts to Facebook.

Trumbley was transported to the Black Hawk County Jail.

The damage to the gate and posts was in excess of $200.
