Former Cyclone Basketball Player arrested for theft

Former Iowa State sharp shooter Tyrus McGee was arrested and charged with misdemeanor theft after he was caught by a surveillence camera taking $220 dollars out of a wallet in an Iowa State dining hall.

ISU police say McGee admitted to taking the money--he was released Wednesday morning from the Story County jail.

McGee who just finished his eligiblity--was the Big 12's sixth man of the year after leading the nation in three point shooting.
