Voters in Warren County voted against building a new casino near Norwalk, according to unofficial results.

With nearly one-third of eligible voters casting a ballot, 60.2 percent opposed the measure.

The proposed casino would have been built 20 miles away from Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Altoona and about 35 miles away from Lakeside Casino and Hotel in Osceola.
