NEW HARTFORD (KWWL) -

All this month, we're looking back at the terrible weather disasters that struck eastern Iowa five years ago.

Wednesday night on the KWWL News at 10, we continue our Un-Natural Disasters +5 reports with New Hartford.

Danielle Wagner shows us how the small town is recovering from both the tornado and the flood. Between the two disasters, 90 percent of the town was impacted.

You'll see how community members came together to form the Oak Hill Cemetery Foundation to rebuild and repair the cemetery on the north side of town. You'll also see what the town's doing with more than $70,000 in donations for a FEMA lot restoration project.

Five years after the natural disasters, New Hartford is proving it's resilient and full of community pride.
