Cedar Valley runners support Boston victims

Runners from around the Cedar Valley continue to show support for those affected in the Boston Marathon bombing.

Locals met at the Cedar Falls Scheels this evening to run, bike and walk in solidarity with the Boston community. Participants wore shirts expressing that "Boston strong" mentality and were given race bibs in honor of the victims.

The event was part of a weekly exercise club that the sporting goods store offers. Nearly fifty people participated.
