IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Five former Hawkeyes are hoping to hear their names called during the 2013 NFL Draft which begins Thursday night in New York City.

NFL.com lists Keenan Davis, James Ferentz, Micah Hyde and James Vandenberg as prospects. HawkeyeSports.com lists Matt Tobin as the fifth Hawkeye with the possibility of playing on Sundays.

Davis, a 6'3", 215-pound wide receiver from Cedar Rapids, caught 111 passes for 1,459 yards and seven touchdowns in 48 games as a Hawkeye. He received a grade of 59.4 on NFL.com, which makes him a draftable player estimated to be drafted somewhere in Rounds 4 through 7.

Ferentz, a 6'2", 284-pound center from Iowa City, started all 12 games in 2012. He was named second team All-Big Ten by the coaches and was selected to play in the 2013 East/West Shrine Game with teammate Keenan Davis. He received a grade of 55.4 on NFL.com, which makes him a draftable player estimated to be drafted somewhere in Rounds 4 through 7.

Hyde, a 6'0", 197-pound free safety from Fostoria, Ohio, recorded 229 tackles and seven interceptions in 49 games wearing the black and gold. He also played in the 2013 East/West Shrine game. Hyde received a grade of 61.7 on NFL.com, which makes him a draftable player estimated to be drafted somewhere in Rounds 4 through 7.

Vandenberg, a 6'3", 226-pound quarterback from Keokuk, completed 477 of 838 passes in 30 games as a Hawkeye. He threw 33 touchdowns and only 18 interceptions in his career. He also ran for six touchdowns. He received a grade of 48.3 on NFL.com, which they say means he will likely have to wait to be picked up as an undrafted free agent.

Tobin, a 6'6", 290 pound offensive lineman from Worthington, played in 27 games during his career at Iowa. He recorded one solo tackle in 2011.

The 2013 NFL Draft begins Thursday night at 7 p.m. Central. Rounds 2 and 3 will take place Friday beginning at 5:30 p.m. The remaining rounds will take place on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.
