Iowa City police have charged two people after a robbery last week in Iowa City. Two men reportedly entered a residence with a handgun at 221 North Linn Street on Wednesday, April 17th and took money and property after an altercation with the people inside. The report prompted a University of Iowa Hawk Alert.
Police later located and charged Nicholas Garner of North Liberty, but were still looking for a second suspect.
Friday, police arrested 24-year-old Devon Ware of Iowa City. Authorities found Ware in Wilton. He know faces charges of 1st degree robbery, 1st degree burglary, going armed with intent, and assault while participating in a felony.
