Firefighters battle fire at "Pink Palace" in Littleton

BUCHANAN COUNTY (KWWL) -

Jesup Firefighters were still on the scene of a building fire on Water Street in Littleton at 10:30 Thursday evening.

Littleton is located between Independence and Fairbank.

Fairbank and Independence Fire Departments assisted the Jesup Fire Department.

Deputy Cory Hartmann from the Buchanan County Sheriff's Office confirmed two 911 calls were made at about 8:15 p.m. for a fire at a building local residents call the "Pink Palace."

The Jesup Fire Chief said the cause of the fire is under investigation, but that it was contained Thursday night.

He said no one was hurt in the fire.
