UPDATE: Dubuque police investigating man's death

Dubuque police have released the name of a man they say may have jumped off the city's Central Avenue parking ramp.

At approximately 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dubuque police and fire departments responded to the area of West Tenth Street and Central Avenue for a report of an unresponsive man on the sidewalk.

Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders determined the man, 64-year-old Mel J. Beadle of Dubuque, was dead.

The investigation, which included a review of the parking ramp's surveillance video, revealed no indications of foul play.

Police say the incident doesn't appear to be accidental or the result of natural causes.

The investigation into Beadle's death continues.
