A man in western Iowa has pleaded not guilty to murder in connection with a fatal shooting outside a small town bar.
Benton Wingrove, 28, is charged with killing 29-year-old Adam Lary in Dow City after the two men argued at a bar. Police say Lary left the bar first. Prosecutors say Wingrove shot at Lary nearly a dozen times as he drove away. Lary was shot and crashed into a house.
Prosecutors say Wingrove was holding the handgun when he was arrested.
