Community members with an opinion on the next Cedar Falls superintendent are encouraged to attend a meeting next week or to fill out a survey.

McPherson and Jacobson L.L.C. is asking for community input via three public meetings and an online survey.

Those meetings are scheduled for April 18 at noon and 5:30 p.m. and for April 19 at 8:30 a.m. All three will be held at the James L. Robinson Administration Center at 1002 W. First Street, Cedar Falls.

For those unable to attend one of the meetings, a survey will be available at from April 18 through April 23.

As KWWL reported in March, the Cedar Falls School Board hired McPherson and Jacobson L.L.C. from Omaha to help replace outgoing superintendent Mike Wells.

The Board will pay more than $11,500 to start the process. The board hopes to have someone hired by July 1st.
