Dubuque teen injured after being hit by an SUV

A Dubuque teenager was injured Saturday afternoon after being hit by an SUV while he was riding a bicycle.

Marcus Chase, 14, was taken to a Dubuque hospital where he's listed in good condition.  Authorities say the incident took place around 12:45 p.m. They say Chase was biking southbound parallel to Ninth Street when he attempted to cross Bluff Street without having the right-of-way. That's when an SUV driven by Marylee Nagy, 58, of Dubuque, struck Chase at the intersection.

Chase was cited for improper crossing at a crosswalk.
