CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

Hundreds lined up at the new Cedar Falls Menards Wednesday evening for a chance to meet a baseball Hall of Famer.

Fergie Jenkins was a Cy Young Award-winning pitcher with the Chicago Cubs in 1971 and was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Game in 1991.

Jenkins now lives in Arizona, where the Cubs hold their Spring Training. He still works for the Cubs organization with various off-the-field endeavors, and -- like all die-hard Cubbie fans -- is hopeful for 2013.
