Car crashes into home following chase

Two people are injured and one person under arrest after a police chase in Cedar Rapids.  It ended after the driver hit a city bus then the porch of a house.  Police say it started around 2:30 p.m. Saturday when an officer saw 30-year-old Clifton Sparks driving in the area of 1st Ave. and 15th St. SE.  They say Sparks had a valid arrest warrant.  They say when the officer tried to pull Sparks over, he kept going.  They say the chase went 3 blocks before Sparks' car was hit by a city of Cedar Rapids bus, which then caused Sparks' car to hit the porch of a home in the 300 block of 15th St. SE.  Police say they arrested him after he tried to run from his car.  He and a person on the bus were taken to area hospitals for minor injuries.  Sparks has been charged with several traffic-related offenses as well as drug violations.
