WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Another meeting -- this one in Waterloo -- is scheduled for the benefit of displaced Hostess Brands workers who were laid off last year.

The informational meeting will be held Thursday, April 4 at 9:30 a.m. in Tama Hall at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo.

The meeting will provide attendees with an overview of the Trade Act of 2011 reemployment services, including job training, relocation services and wage subsidy.

A meeting is also scheduled in Cedar Rapids at a different date.

Those who cannot attend a meeting may call their local IowaWORKS office to arrange another meeting.

Meetings are being held for laid-off Hostess workers after the company had been certified by the U.S. Department of Labor for reemployment services under the Trade Act of 2011.
