The trials of two men charged in the murder of a Manchester couple last May have been delayed.

Isaiah Sweet, 18, faces two counts of first degree murder in the May 2012 shooting deaths of his custodial grandparents, Richard and Janet Sweet on May 11, 2012.

Isaiah's trial, which has now been rescheduled three times, is set to happen on October 16 in Delaware County.

Brandon Ahlers, 20, faces two counts of aiding and abetting first degree murder. According to the criminal complaint, Ahlers and Sweet discussed ways to kill Sweet's grandparents.

Ahlers allegedly told Sweet how to load the rifle that was used and helped Sweet find the fastest way out of town.

Police say Ahlers then sold the rifle to a man in nearby Greely and later returned to the Sweet's home to try and steal the grandfather's truck.

Ahlers' trial, which has now been rescheduled five times, is set to begin on May 22.
