UPDATE: Furniture store fire was caused by arson

Authorities say someone deliberately set a fire at a Marion business Wednesday morning.  

Fire crews were called to Iowa Warehouse Furniture and Sleep Center at 1420 Twixt Town Road at about 5:00 a.m.

In a report from the Marion Police Department, crews found damage to the front door of the business, and the interior of the business was on fire.

Crime Scene Investigators were also on the scene Wednesday morning.

A sprinkler system kept the fire from spreading, but a neighboring businesses have significant water and smoke damage.  

Iowa Warehouse Furniture is also damaged from water and smoke, but damage from the fire was contained to an office and storage area.

No one was hurt.
