IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Early estimates put damages at one million dollars in a fire at the building housing vehicles for Johnson County road crews.

It happened at the Johnson County Secondary Roads Facility on Melrose Avenue yesterday afternoon.

At least two trucks are destroyed, one is still questionable as to whether it is reparable or not.

As many as six other trucks were exposed to smoke.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but officials are investigating one of the destroyed vehicles as a possible cause.
