An Iowan is $2 million richer after Powerball drawing

Officials with the Iowa lottery say a winning $2 million ticket was sold in Iowa.

The winning ticket was sold at convenience store in the 1200 block of North Market Street in Oskaloosa.

Saturday night's winning numbers were 17 – 29 – 31 – 52 – 53 and the Powerball was 31.

A lucky person from New Jersey matched all six numbers, winning the $320 million jackpot.

The $320 million jackpot is the sixth-largest in the game's history.

The largest Powerball jackpot in history was $587.5 million. A ticket purchased in Arizona and another in Missouri shared the prize in November.

According to lottery officials, 13 other tickets worth $1 million each matched all but the final Powerball number on Saturday night. Those tickets were sold in New Jersey and 10 other states.
