Two injured, including 1-year-old, in Jones County accident

The Jones County Sheriff's Office says two people, including a one-year-old child, were injured Thursday afternoon in an accident south of Monticello.

Deputies say a van driven by 24-year-old Alli Gracey of Anamosa was headed west on 170th Street and collided with a truck, driven by a 14-year-old Olin girl, at the intersection of County Road X44.

Gracey was taken to Jones Regional Medical Center.  A one-year-old that was in Gracey's van was air lifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

The 14-year-old and her passenger, 40-year-old James VonBehren, were not injured.

The accident remains under investigation.
