Waverly's new superintendent is David Klamfoth

Waverly–Shell Rock has a new superintendent to replace retiring superintendent Jere Vyverberg.

Wednesday the Waverly-Shell Rock Board of Education approved a contract for David Klamfoth.

Vyverberg confirms that Klamfoth will be paid $155,000 per year plus benefits. Klamforth is currently the superintendent of the Edgewood-Colesburg Community School district.

Klamforth will start on July 1, the day after Vyverberg's last day.
