CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -
In Cedar Rapids, the following roads are closed due to flooding:
- 8th Street NW between Q Avenue NW and Ellis Lane NW
In Marion, the parks and recreation department has closed the Boyson Trail system because of flooding along Indian Creek.
They have also closed Thomas Park and the trail aces points at Thomas Park so that repairs can be made after flooding damaged the park. The ice rink at Thomas Park is now closed for the season.
The City of Marion says council member Lou Stark submitted his letter of resignation and they will appoint someone to finish the rest of the term.More >>
