Iowa State nearly dropped a big lead but hung on to win their regular season finale at West Virginia 83-74.
Will Clyburn led the way for the Cyclones with a 27 point performance. Korie Lucious added 21 in the win.
Early in the second half, Lucious hit a 3 pointer that game Iowa State a 55-28 lead. West Virginia, however, battled back, and a Terry Henderson slam got the Mountaineers within 4 with 48 seconds remaining. The Cyclones would finish the game hitting 7 of 8 free throws to keep West Virginia at bay.
