Monday morning snow causes some travel headaches

BLACK HAWK COUNTY (KWWL) -

This morning's snowstorm was the first wave of this system and the lesser of the two storms, but police were still busy Monday morning.

In fact, Black Hawk County went to 38 different accidents by 6:30 a.m. Monday.

One of those was a rollover accident on Highway 20 east of the Interstate 380 interchange. No injuries were reported.

Buchanan County dispatch officials, on the other hand, were called to only a couple of cars in the ditch by noon Monday. Bremer County said six accidents were reported by that time.
