CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

Lots of college students were hanging out...literally...at the UNI Wellness Center Saturday. The 15th annual Rock Revolution was held on the UNI Campus, as students competed for prizes from area sponsors. Climbers came from all over Iowa.

"Quite a few from University of Northern Iowa, we also have Iowa State University and University of Iowa Representing as well.....the range of climbers is everything from people who have never competed in a competition before to people who have, the veteran competitors if you will", said John Ratcliff, Program Director.

Climbing patterns, or routes, were unfamiliar to the competitors. The routes, like ski slopes, are named beginner, intermediate, to advanced.
