CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -
The University of Northern Iowa's Wellness Center was full of dancing students Saturday. They danced their way from Noon to Midnight to benefit the Children's Miracle Network and The University Of Iowa's Children's Hospital. More dancers were on hand this year than years past.
"We are so blessed. We have 900 dancers who showed up this year. Last year we had 600, so we are doing really great...we are very excited about it. They are dancing to all kinds of music. Every hour is themed, so we have anywhere from Disney music to throw back to the 80's..." said co-executive director Alyssa Nolte.
The Dance Marathon has a goal of raising $66,000 this year.
