DECORAH (KWWL) -

An organizational meeting for the newly formed Winneshiek County Protectors group will be held Wednesday, March 6th.

The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Decorah Middle School.

This meeting will be serve as the election of the board of the directors and a review of the mission statement and organizing documents will be conducted.

The public is invited to attend.

Last month, the group held a public forum on frac sand mining in Winneshiek County.
